There comes a time in the life of a person where they simply stop caring about their body. And then what happens after that? Their body simply stops caring about them. The skin begins to sag, the weight is put on and the body is not toned anymore. Basically, you begin to lose the elasticity of the skin because you did not work hard enough to keep it elastic, even at the age you were at. And then there are those people who really do work hard at their skin and their posture and body and in the end, even in their fifties they have the body of a supermodel. So you either move it, or you lose it! You really have to stay in the game because if you stop putting in an effort, you are going to lose the figure you have now or once had.

Don’t Let Go
If you let go of exercise and general body and health care, it is a downfall that you do not want to even go a few steps on. Don’t let go of your motivation and your routine and try sticking to it for as long as you can. A friend’s grandfather is almost eight years old but truth be told, he looks better than most fifty year old men. What is his secret? He never let go of his morning jog. Even to this day, no matter what happens, he always go on his morning jog. Whether it is cold or freezing or it is so hot that everyone would want to just stay inside an air conditioned room, he still manages to put on his joggers and head out early morning. It has helped him a lot in maintaining his body and figure and he has even managed to stay clear of most diseases that are actually clawing to people his age like a leech. Hence, if you truly want to not lose it, move it!

A Few Tips On Moving It!
The thing you have to understand is that you have to find out what ticks with you. Like the grandfather, perhaps you have a job that would not allow you to go for early morning jogs. Perhaps you are not an early riser. However, it is your job to find the thing that clicks with you and instill it in your daily routine. If that cannot happen, at least try to do it three times a week. Here are a few things that might end up suiting you and that you might like to do for the rest of your life!

  • Try to take out time for some kind of exercise daily and set a proper time for it. You can either take a nightly stroll, an early jog or even go for a walk after the afternoon tea. However, these are the things you can do if you do not have an overworked job.
  • If you are in the working class and have a strenuous job, most of the companies have a gym. Try to put in half an hour a day after work or even three times a week is fine. Even do a few sit ups and push-ups in your office if you find it hard to visit the gym.
  • If you have a family, you could make it a habit with them to do some kind of exercise, like the nightly stroll. However, that is up to you to decide what time to put the stroll in.
  • After waking up and washing even, you can just perform thirty second planks and do a few sit ups.

But know that it will be hard at first to get into the routine but once you are in it, you wouldn’t want to let go of it and that is the way it should be.

The honest truth is, you are going to lose your health if you do not take care of it. You can see the example of a lot of old people, ones who did put in an effort and ones who did not and you can see the visible difference. Now the question is, are you going to move it and keep it or are you going to lose it?
